Am I alone in actually liking this song, which it seems fashionable to dislike?
The Pogues were a great band, Kirsty MacColl was bloody brilliant, so what's the problem? Be honest, and be anonymous if you're embarrassed. Like or dislike, or indifferent - make your choice. I am not going the "love/hate" route because those words are vastly overused and hugely devalued on the internet.

I quite liked it before the ritual oversaturation when someone realised that this time of year was an excuse to enjoy it again. Nowadays, though, I prefer the Christy Moore version.

I love it and my wife hates it, so I tend to play it a lot at Christmas

WOW! 8 - 2 in favour of "like" so far. Hand on heart, I was not expecting that.

I *(^&%^$^%$ dislike it with a passion...... Quite possibly my most disliked song of all time, I cannot tell you . . . I would listen to Lana Del Rey for a whole week rather than one spin of that shite song - I'm serious!
Oh, I voted no by the way

Dont mind the pogues, don't mind kirsty, but that song. NO,no,no. Just too much of a jumble . First part almost as bad as a channel 5 xmas film, start of kirsty part ,ok. then both singing no, i grit my teeth on the 'boys of the NY''...... curls my toes that part...

Music taste of some people really does make my mind boggle. It does André, but its comforting to know that all the people you thought would like it do, and vice versa. So there's continuity there, which I find oddly comforting for some reason. I would actually find it shocking and quite unsettling if you started liking Lady Gaga for instance. We all have our little corners, however dishevelled some of them may be (and I'm talking about myself here)
