Where abouts are you ?
I've got a Dual 1019 that was cut about to fit a Rega arm and you are welcome to it for spares. (no arm fitted).
BUT, I'm not really interested in trying to send it by post or courier.
I'm in north Essex, CO10 8JN.
Philip.

Some years ago I built a belt drive turntable from bits of a Logic DM101.
If someone wanted to play with it I would do a swap with something. The motor speed controller is on long term loan from a friend, but I might be able to arrange something on that.
No arm with it though.

Thats very kind Philip, unfortunately I'm not within striking distance of Essex... Not for a turntable anyway ! I see your's has what appears to be the multi-changer spindle ? Thats the only thing I'm missing...

Okay, there are plenty of lovely decks in this thread now that aren't 1200s/1210s, so it seems safe to contribute. I just had a quick play with a mate's camera - need to figure our how to fix the lighting - too sepia.

This is my current Lenco based turntable. Not obviously Lenco but Michell Orbe platter is driven by a Lenco motor and idler wheel hidden underneath. Arm is good old Ittok and cartridge a Zu Denon 103 retipped by Expert Stylus using sapphire cantilever and parabolic stylus.

Looks great, Ian. How does that suspension work? Badly! It doesn't have one . In practice I use some foculpods under the acrylic base and don't have any problems with vibration. Cheers, Ian

Cheers, Ian Glad you said that. Great looking deck. I find that I actually prefer the sound of decks with no floppy suspension, mine just has sorbothane feet under and I don't suffer from any problems either. Have you got any pics of the build? It would be interesting to see how you mounted the motor and drive under there.
