Very nice! Is that shelf the VW1, or something else from Target? Thanks I'm not sure the model of the shelf, it is a Target which I bought from Amazon for £110 delivered, which was a lot cheaper than the latest model direct from Target. It was a pain to fit because I have plasterboard walls with a large gap to the brick so had to ask a kitchen fitter to do the job properly and cut out a bit of the plasterboard and fit a wooden batten behind. It did make a huge difference however as I also have sprung floors which are hopeless if you don't put the deck on a wall shelf. The LP12 is about 1981 with a later Ittok arm to which I added a Khan top plate and replaced the motor. I also polished the platter using Cape Cod cleaning pads and apart from that and a service it's original. Lawrence

Interesting! I'm in a similar situation, with a suspended floor and plasterboard wall, so good to hear of your solution - I'd figured a shelf was just a no-go.

Lovely looking LP12 Lawrence - and with one of my favourite arms on it, too! Quality Marco.

One of my Thorens TD124/II turntables with an SME3009/II, carrying a Decca Mk VI cartridge. This is an old photograph; the electronics have changed since the photo was taken.

Here's a rubbish shot of my Dual currently awaiting a new power cable that needs wiring in & the plinth needs a little TLC... The turntable itself is very nearly mint which I'm pleased about.
