Let's brighten up the forum with some nice turntable pics, not library images but ones of your very own prized decks. I have at the last count 7 vinyl spinners, here is one of them to get things rolling..............

Oh dear, we're going to need a few more brands in here, otherwise the brand bias police will be here any moment

I want one of these. But I have a Tom Fletcher Dais MK1 from the early 1980's.

I always look at all these posh TTs everyone has and think that, one of these days, I must get mine beyond the prototype stage. Problem is that it sounds so good I don't want to disturb it. It has several unique features. A two stage anti-vibration system. Sorbothane feet are standard enough but the secondary bit is three loudspeaker spikes sitting in holes drilled in 5p coins (sorry Ma'am) sitting on rubber grommits. The main body is in two part MDF with a cherry arm board. The motor carrier is Beech worktop. I suppose I am proud that there is not another like it in the whole wide world

I'd make a contribution here, but I'm not sure if this thread needs more 1210s! @ Pinkie: What's this?

I'd make a contribution here, but I'm not sure if this thread needs more 1210s! @ Pinkie: What's this? That my friend, is yer actual "'ole" - not unlike those what men dig in roads. No idea why - I presume Arthur or someone had another arm before, and an arm rest went there. Or maybe its his next secret Techie mod. It was one of a pile of SL1200's in the corner of the workshop, which I took hostage whilst he was working on my arm repairs, because sometimes when doing a favour for his friends he takes quite a long time doing it! You've provoked me into this you lot There - happy now? The real Techie I last used when a bit involved with some techie mod debate, and the basis for my comments about them Kevin
