Yo, I is back folks as the first needle threader of this thread and its been interesting to read all responses. To get an idea of who, or should that be whom, joins audio based forums I sometimes pay more attention to people in the same room as I in show demos, and also when HiFi maggies show pictures of individuals attending HiFi shows such as Bristol, Munich etc. They are invariably intense in manner, wanting to see and learn and part take in a shared or lone experience. These are the very people who populate HiFi forums I feel, they're like you, they're like me. Some take the experience as some evangelic quest, some out of first time curiosity, and some out of continued habit... like l'il ole me. Looking at the mob everyone seems so so serious as if their jobs and existence depended on their attendance. There is hardly a smiling, happy face (initially), take a look next time. Damn me and loosen up folks and folkesses, hifi, systems and forums are only a means to and end... to relax and enjoy the music you love to hear not to beat up on others you may not agree with!
Now back to my set of conga drums (seriously, helps me relax) to send messages back and forth to Brazil Ron, There are moderators and then there are bullies. Both are different and both exist in the UK forum scene at least. " Damn me and loosen up folks" exactly right chief, its only a stereo FFS Later chief
