Seems a good example for the first test release.
I may be the only one but found when trying to ssh to it with my Mac it did not like the RSA key, thought a man in the middle attack was possible. To fix I googled & asked Tim. One has to remove that IP from known_hosts file (I deleted the file).
Tim puts a lot of effort into this player together with a band of capable guys on DIYaudio. He also gives a fast response to questions, great support.

If and when Spotify is directly supported, I will be very interested in trying it.

If Tim gets to read this one 26t2 seems good. Noted your tweet last night and ripped it this morning. Like the left/right in/out phase track.

Tim works like a man driven. Release 2.6 test code 3 now available. Listening to it now. Setup gets easier. Doubt I will use all the new features he has added.
Anyone pondering streaming - a Pi and this player is worth trying out

First, thank you to the team for this fantastic work. I use moode for over a year and I 've never had a crash ! I just have a problem with airplay does not work . Can not find it on my macbook whereas before it was working with an older version . Moode is the only one interface to work with my IPAD1 screen : THANK YOU! But art album is completely distorted on screen. I know that there is a parameter change in a configuration file , I had done on a previous version of Moode but could not find the information again. Someone can help me ? PS: I also love that when Moode will works with spotify

With later versions it has been off by default but used to default to on. Which version of Moode are you using and which version of Pi? If you email Tim Curtis he is very helpful I have found and this forum has a lot of the work to enhance the player www.diyaudio.com/forums/pc-based/271811-moode-audio-player-raspberry-pi-299.html

Rogue dot now removed. Or to put it another way: Alan's post is now useful because I made it pointless.

Sorry to say you did not read and note my post pointing out the not working was due to a not the dot which people see. Sometimes one has to look behind the obvious. Your edited link does not work. The copied post you did not note does work. As a Pi 3 dropped through my letterbox this AM I have another possibility to explore now

You're making assumptions about what I did and didn't do. I just made a joke Alan, that's all.

For those who don't pick up from AoS postings by Tim Curtis Test or his Twitter posts Release 5 of 2.6 now on this web site.
I've setup a Pi 3 since the last post and both TR4 and TR5 work fine. Effortless even if one can handle the terse setup instructions.
Yes the forum is tardy to use and

If anyone is a user of Moode Player and does not follow version progress then Tim Curtis has announced that he is aiming to release v 2.6 this weekend. This version works on Pi 3 and has many enhancements you may not value.
I find the forum slowww to load and whilst I do not get the urge to post very often when I have edited things get sluggish. To be honest I have given up caring, let you trio of owners enjoy correcting me and auditioning for comedy store

Is there any danger that Moode will support Spotify, in which case I'll give it a try?
As for your other comments like "comedy store", I have no idea what you mean.

Test Release 6 now available for those who feel curious. TR5 was a bit of a step back with bugs - that is what test releases are for. This version overtakes it and seems good so far. If someone is not IT minded it is best they avoid thinking about what they could have.
Martin I use Airplay from Spotify so do not have a need to have Moode Player specifically in built to Moode. I have not seen any others who express a wish for it to be part of Moode. Tim Curtis is very approachable if you want to ask him yourself. Maybe it will be part of the next version if you did.
Comedy store. Some members believe they are humorous and use that belief when posting. For me comedy has to be visual and audible, simply written just does not work. I'll laugh out loud to radio and television but see a forum LOL is wasted on me (and maybe one or two others).

I don't have any Apple products and don't want third party software on an intermediary machine - I want direct Spotify capability. I will contact Tim abut it.
Humour in forums is always tricky as it lacks the accompanying body language. However, I personally find word play can be very amusing. Obviously, different people feel differently about it which I do understand.

Should anyone wish to have the latest full version of Moode - 2.6 it is now on moodeaudio.orgThis version works with the RPi3 and is feature rich apart from Martins wish of integrated Spotify. For less than the cost of MikeMusics electric socket one can have an RPi3, IQAudio DAC+, Moode (free) and excellent quality music. Nah
