Excellent production and engineering
Like me you will be less keen on track 7 Can only think he's there due to Shipbuilding

...and if you wanted Shipbuilding, Tasmin Archer does a nice cover of it.

Interrupting the Ry Cooder list and the playlist I thought of the wonderful
Keef Hartley Band - Halfbreed
Even better than ever before
If this isn't the best blues album ever it runs damned close.
All the vocals and instruments separated like never before. Superb bass, great detail on the drums. Miller Anderson never sounded so good on guitar and vocals

Listening to more familiar playlist albums
Nothing has changed since the last time but there seems to be more space and detail.
Do Ion generation and demagnetiser procedures improve after ?!

Visit yesterday from @pjdowns, good to see him again, playing interesting music from
Quinteto da Paraíba - Music Armarial - I like Boz Scaggs not a favourite previously but I need to listen again. Dig - well made and interesting Chris Jones also needs investigating
Digging out my super favourites I impressed Paul with Camper Van Beethoven - Camper Vantiquities Ry Cooder - Alamo Bay / Borderline Fragile State - Voices from the dust bowl Jon Hopkins Bruce Hornsby - Spirit Trail Steve Miller - Italian X-Rays
Been a few serious upgrades since I last played them and I was very impressed with the additional detail and music being delivered
The fantastic stand out for me was
Fragile State - Voices from the dust bowl
Could not believe the amount of music being delivered I hadn't heard before
So many favourite albums need to be played. Which ones will deliver so much ?

Visit yesterday from Tony, Coherent. Some playing with a Nova Fidelity X50 through my TAD D1000 as Pre Amp. Sounded good rather than great. Tony sees the Pre part of the TAD as the limiter so in the fullness of time I shall have a Tony special Pre Amp to try out. "Liquid" I think is the name
Super duper Coherent XLR BD interconnect with Graphene in there, between the TAD Pre and power left to play and sounding good on the playlist today. Difficult to move around so will stay in, probably for the whole playlist before I take it out and go back to the Coherent 6D. That's probably best anyway
More as I work my way through albums

Working through the well known to me playlist is a very pleasant task. Retirement is better than working. Was I born to do this ? The Graphene enhanced, super duper Coherent BD interconnect seems to be delivering a little more bass from somewhere, more immediacy in the music, width to the sound stage, more flow. Need to A B test against my existing 6D in a few days time. By the time Tony and I speak next I will know if we have 'the conversation' to ascertain if this is delivering value for money for the price. Good and bad - Tony with his fertile mind keeps coming up with better cables and product churn here at MikeMusic towers is more than I would like !

There's more to this grounding box stuff than I thought
A certain gentleman supplier has pointed out I still have the 6D interconnect in place.
Well, this certainly sounds a step or two up so what could it be ?
User error Two of the cables into the RTZ were not fully in. I swear they definitely were.
Anyway punters Make sure you push your ends in ! Free sound improvement may be yours for the taking
Music sounds wonderful

Taking a break from the music walking the dogs around the fields. Useful exercise for the body and the mind, I thought about what happened There has most definitely been a step up in sound quality. I'm listening again to a well know album with more music being delivered. So what happened ? Couple of grounding cables disconnected from TAD, into X50 and back again. Think Tony shuffled a couple on the RTZ, besides firming a couple up. My guess the out / in / out has improved connections. Which reminds me of the last time I moved the RTZ. All cables disconnected. RTZ moved Cables reconnected Didn't do a proper test but my intuition told me the sound had improved, just from moving the RTZ ? No. From the disconnect and reconnect of all grounding cables Feel free to tell me moving the RTZ did it

If the RTZ was like my SGS grounding boxes, I would say 'probably' as giving them a shake often causes a period of resettling followed by an improvement. However, the RTZ is full of ancient magic bloodstone rather than the grated pixie dust mine are filled with.

I'm listening now to Rick Springfield and hearing depths never heard before.
Thought it was the Unobtanium crystals realigned with the quantum fields after Tony chanted magic. The bloodstone has to be a possibility though

Keep thinking of favourite artists and albums I have not heard since the recent upgrades to the system and the 4 CD treatment boxes I now have
Gone back to my favourite Jeff Beck albums and discovering new albums Starting with Blow by Blow - fantastic. So very well made. So much in there.
New Music comes along to a lesser degree as I keep finding so much more in favourites

Special mention for
Jeff Beck - Who else
Brilliant sound, more music than I have ever heard before. Much more detail, nuance, bass, sheer presence
Space for the Papa incredible
Peaking at 90db, TAD setting 156
