Beloved Shish Mahal owner Mr Ali dies at age 77 as tributes pour in.
According to legend, Mr Ali invented chicken tikka masala at the Shish Mahal in Glasgow in the 1970s with a can of tomato soup after a customer complained that his meal 'was too dry'.

Shilton came close, as did Pat Jennings but no, certainly not any British goalkeepers. Best goalkeeper in the world right now is also, like Pelé, Brazillian, and that's Alisson Becker, but he's not Banks. We've got a 24-year-old Irish lad at Liverpol named Caoimhin Kelleher (pronounced [something like] Kwee-ven, it's the Irish equivlvalent of "Kevin") who could rival Alisson one day, but Banks? Probably not.
I feel a bit privileged to have grown up watching a succession of greats, Eusébio, Pelé, Cruyff, Best, the entire 1970 Brazil World Cup squad, Platini, Gullit, Gerrard, Suárez, Messi... Kids today have hardly scratched the surface of great football.
