I have recently watched two excellent series with Wifey,
Suites - humorous series about a New York Lawyer Firm...
The Blacklist - really excellent and quite clever too

Yes, they're both top of my list.

...but I think you mean Suits unless it's that other rather dreary and inanimate series about settees.

Murder One was an excellent legal drama years ago. I remember Stanley Tucci in it. Excellent actor!
Currently watching The Killing Series 3. The Danish version. Really like it!
Another vote for The Blacklist. Fantastic!

The Newsroom is back for its final (3rd) series. Another Aaron Sorkin masterwork with his typical fast-paced dialogue (as in The West Wing and Studio 60).

I signed up with Netflix recently and have been working my way through Sons Of Anarchy, as an ex biker this series is right up my street. The season three finale is absolutely epic

Peaky Blinders anyone ? Quite a brave show imo,a bit too much gratuitous stuff if you ask me but i am compelled to watch the unfolding narrative. Excellent production values, terrific writing, the BBC at its best .

The penultimate episode of The Leftovers was breathtaking in its storytelling. Written like Lost (Damon Lindelof wrote for both series, so it's not a surprise), don't try working out what's going on, just enjoy the ride. And boy, that episode was a belter. The final episode should be quite something.

Really good documentary series on BBC2, that's already started, called Tomorrow's Worlds: The Unearthly History of Science Fiction, about SF in both films and TV. Fascinating!
There's still time to catch Ep.2 on iPlayer here.

Hmm. Radio Times was highly unimpressed with that so I didn't bother
I'll have a look at iPlayer

I have been enjoying Tomorrow's Worlds: The Unearthly History of Science Fiction too. I used to be a sci-fi nerd as well as a music nerd. Is anyone else watching Remember Me on BBC1, on Sunday nights? It's nice to find a supposedly "spooky" story that actualy makes you jump for a change; excellent cast too.

I'm looking forward to the new Brian Pern series on BBC2, Tuesday, at 22:00. If you missed series one then shame on you, and you call yourself a music lover!? Serioulsy though, if you like prog and/or have a sense of humour I heartily recommend it if it's as good as series one. This will give you a flavour of Brian Pern...NOT Peter Gabriel, honestly.
