Just finished the first season of Billions. Thought I was going to hate it, but actually really, really enjoyed it. Well worth a watch.

My summary of currently watched series:
Game of Thrones - 10/10 simply the best Banshee - 10/10 sad that it's ending, thrill-a-minute and so very watchable
The Tunnel (Sabotage) - 9/10 two great actors and wonderful chemistry
The Blacklist - 8/10 still great entertainment and 'Red' is a superb character Billions - 8/10 Damien Lewis carries the show but great supporting cast
Killjoys - 7/10 just finished but good start if overly complex universe Colony - 7/10 some good moments but not sure if the momentum will continue Blindspot - 7/10 quite entertaining, interesting premise, but may be losing its way
The Five - 6/10 not going anywhere, getting bored with it
Limitless - 5/10 promising start from the film but rapidly turned pants, binned 12 Monkeys - 5/10 it's lost its way, binned The Catch - 5/10 watched Ep.1, crap, will bin

Dicte - another from Walter is good. Watched the first 2 hour one last night. Looks like complete story per episode with character development

Yesterday's Game of Thrones was a particularly well crafted episode which moved the story on and gave us some hilarious scenes like Olenna bluntly telling Cersei how abominable she is, Jamie trying and failing to move the Castle king, Yara and the hot prostitute, Jon Snow's pitiful attempts to raise an army and Arya buying passage on a ship. Many laugh out loud moments.

Banshee, too, is at the top of its game. Got a feeling it's going to go out with a big bang.
Eliza Dushku - wow!

GOT is setting it self up nicely for the last two in the current series. Expect some epic battle scenes Enjoyed Banshee got better as it went along

They are both so epic, I'm savouring the final episodes and will miss Banshee a lot.

Game of Thrones - clever girl, cutting the candle. The blindness paid off... Hopefully she will use any skills she may have learnt later in the series otherwise the whole Arya story has been a pointless.

We've just finished series 1 & 2 of The Tunnel following recommendation here. Hadn't heard of it, far better than I dared hope! Top recommendation.
Twistier than a bowl of spaghetti, loved the local location to us. Particularly effective to keep the French subtitled I thought. The socially inept female lead reminded me of the character Lisbeth Salander in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, minus the cool.
Pleased to have found a number of excellent British crime thrillers that were new to me - Prey, Happy Valley and State of Play series.

Glad you liked The Tunnel. Elise is modelled on Saga in the Scandinavian series The Bridge. Indeed, S1 is the same story as The Bridge S1. Well worth catching it if you can.

So The Tunnel was a dumbed down version for those who struggle with subtitles then - reduced to 50%.
We did dip in the water under The Bridge, but it didn't hook us at the time. Will try again.
