Fargo was excellent. Luther (which we usually love) turned out to be a bit of a damp squib this time we thought. Agree about Luthur, think it was a bit too short and whilst Luthur himself was still typical Luthur, the rest of the show was let down.

I just watched the very last ep. of Continuum. I shed a tear despite it being a 2nd tier series. They also posted a thank you to all their loyal fans, which was a nice touch.

*Spoiler alert* So that's season five done and dusted. Not the finale I was expecting - the mass shoot-out across Berlin never materialising once the terrorists were foiled. Glad to see Saul got Allison in the end!

Sherlock Homes: The Abominable Bride (BBC) - proper seasonal fodder?
It was certainly nutty ... and with generous portions of pure cheese, but possibly too corny for some tastes?

Just finished the final episode of Justified. Great series that really grew on me. Without giving anything away, the ending was well conceived and provided good closure. I'm going to miss it.

I believe it has another series in the making.
One of those series that isn't afraid to kill off main characters. Perhaps we could use the phrase "series characters" in future- if not already in use

The greatest series for killing off main characters at zero notice was Spooks. Superb series, that was.

I liked the first season of Spooks but never really got on with or followed it beyond that point.

Can't agree, Spooks was one of the best series to come from the UK.

SWMBO says it is/was wonderful. Like much of the stuff she watches I have no interest. Seen one or a few and decided. Constant diet of Detectives, both UK and US and gorey stuff like Silent Witness and Bones
Hack was a recent one I stopped watching
Montalbano hanging in at the moment but with one of the supporting characters that bores me/winds me up
