That's an easy one Martin - agreed about them both being great 'characters', but one is an extremely competent and credible actress, the other isn't. I don't understand that. I was married to a bipolar woman and Claire Danes has got the mood changes, bizarre behaviour and personality swings off to a tee. It's a really great performance, sometimes quite uncanny for me.

Started watching Mrs Brown's Boys today for the first time... Really enjoying it so far, very funny!

She may have all that Martin, but I don't rate her as an actress at all - in fact I find her intensely irritating, so can't watch her. I would probably follow Homeland if she wasn't in the cast.

I'm enjoying homeland still. Get well soon Quinn!
Chill Tim:) agree with martin on this one. Carrie is either on meds and dull, or off them and weird but effective!
We are involved and frustrated in our way through The Leftovers:)
Will try Justified soon. On to that one a bit late!

Are you on S2 of The Leftovers, Steve? I find it more subtle and even more powerful than S1.

I'm only discussing with Martin, Steve - I think he knows me quite well and understands how my mind works, so all chilled here Just too very opposed views . . . but I guess if you don't know me personally I can come across as rather forceful, fortunately Martin knows me quite well and I'm sure he understands what a twit I am, but a likeable twit (hopefully)! Justified is great, I think you should enjoy that - some great music in the series too, especially during the end credits.

Some of the end credits have led me to breaking out Shazam. The Leftovers, too.

Been watching 'Master Of None' on Netflix. It's great fun - very, very funny! Well worth a watch.

We enjoyed Unforgotten, which has just finished. Superb cast and the promise of Nicola Walker and Sanjeev Bhaskar returning for another series.

Remember to put the mandatory 10 minutes on the end of the 2nd one as BBC 4 is usually late !

Sky nearly always adjusts to the real times so I'll leave it on automatic.

I'm still happy with what Freeview has to offer. More than I can manage stored on the Tivo as it is
