I'm really enjoying Bordertown on Netflix.
There's nothing hugely original in it but the lead detective in the unit is a quirky character and overall it's very nicely made and quite understated Finnish Noir, so I will be watching the whole series.

I'm still thoroughly enjoying the French Black Spot, very dark and eccentric Noir Francaise.

I've finally got around to the final series of "Supernatural". 2 weeks to wait intil s4 of Star Trek: Discovery, the second half of s1 of The Nevers doesn't start until 2022, I've just finished "Homecoming," and I'm bang up to date with Foundation. Thank goodness for iPlayer and Dr Who.

Succession S3 on Now TV is wonderfully cruel and vicious as ever. Scheming and feuding family on another level.

I am feeling bereft after finishing Black Spot on Netflix.
I'll start on Bordertown next.

The two lead characters in Bordertown are great creations and complement each other perfectly as they couldn't be more different.

"The Wheel of Time" has started, on Amazon Prime. Episode 1 is available now. First impression: It's BIG. They've chucked a lot of money at this. It's supposed to be Amazon's answer to Game of Thrones, but expect visual comparisons with Lord Of The Rings, although the bulk of the series was shot in Prague, in the Czech Republic, not New Zealand. Filming also took place in Slovenia and Dubrovnik, Croatia so the interweb tells me. Series 2 is already confirmed.

Got about 15 minutes in and abandoned It's a massive story, Mike, you need to give it time (no pun intended) and trust me, episode one REALLY heats up towards the end. It took all of my willpower not to go straight in to episode 2.
