Beck seems to have all seasons on Amazon Prime starting in 1998
I know the Beeb missed some out and had not planned to show them.

Prime seems to have all of Beck from the very start where the characters are not as developed as we came to see them

Catweazle back on Talking Pictures channel ! Forces TV are showing Sapphire & Steel starting tonight, and E4 are showing Buffy from the start. Trash TV at its finest, and yes, I've set the recorder.

I've started watching Banshee again as all the series are on NowTV. Ah, damn it. I'm completely hooked again. In some ways, this is the best drama ever created for television. It won't suit everybody, but watch the first 5 episodes and you will not be able to stop yourself.

Sapphire and Steel lasted about one-and-a-half episodes, but Buffy is still fun, and perfect to watch when I'm having lunch every day.

Alex Rider - Prime
recommended so far
Do *not* read the blurb. Gives away a lot up to around the first half hour and even more past where we currently are on Episode 3

I wouldn't have even have given that a first look as it's based on a series of books aimed at "young adults." Second youth, Mike?

I tried E1 of Pandora. I doubt I shall be watching any more. I did try some more and, oh dear, it really is teen SF fodder. The premise is interesting but the execution completely devoid of character development or realistic dialogue.

So far not at all bad and only a slight nod to youngsters - at Episode 3

Yes, I've just watched E9, the epic episode where Anna/Carrie fights Olek. I'd be dead around 10% into that fight, let alone survive it enough to get up and go off to find my children!
Still amazingly gripping as you suspend disbelief and just lap it all up.

I've just watched S1e1 of "Halt And Catch Fire," on Amazon Prime, and thoroughly enjoyed it. MartinT, I think it's probably one you'll enjoy too if the first episode is anything to go by. A little bonus is Mackenzie Davis (Mariette in BR 2049) as one of the three leads. There are four series, and I've desperately avoided *spoilers* so that's all I know.

Thanks, I'll watch that. ...I did actually just watch E1 and it's a blast!

We started Halt and Catch Fire too. Both enjoying it - apart from 944 driving like a git and killing a Dillo. It's only a series Steve 🙂 - I know but the impressionable / gullible WILL emulate - Lord Reith and Mary W were right😉
I rewatched the final series of GoT. I've forgiven it, by and large. Quite enjoyed the enevitability of it all.
