A classic Aussie rock album. Played frequently in my youth.
My turntable wasn't automatic, so the last track's last note played until I got up to lift the arm.
Favourite tracks: Short Memory US Forces
Power and the Passion got decent radio play.
Haven't played the whole album in probably 20 years. Played it a bit too quietly just now (but it is 10pm).

That opening is from Once Upon a Time in the West.
No, can't say I've heard this before.

Beds are burning is a great track, I am sure some local radio stations still play that quite frequently.
This album and some ups and downs, I like some of the ups. 😀

Out of 5 I would have given a two but from 4 I can only give it a 1. The music for me has not aged well

You know how it is John with albums you grew up with; this being one of many. You're lucky it wasn't Snakefinger...
I only really like two tracks. They being the ones with the strongest political messages.

"How do we sleep while our beds are burning" just sprung into my mind a few weeks ago and never left I better give this a listen and report back.

I'll put it a bit more kindly than Mike, and say it's "of its age". That being said, I enjoyed their music at the time, and apparently still do. 3/4

I did listen and my accumulated thoughts were "meh" by the end. Sorry, but to my ears it's very dated.
I don't fancy looking at Wombat turds so it gets 2/4.
