Some of the 'instrumental' parts were Okay. Mostly didn't enjoy the vocals and it reminded me of too many other things to start out. My favourite track was Scream in Blue - some of the vocal delivery reminded me of Sid Barrett! 2/4 and would have been a 3/5 I suspect had that been an option.

I know this album and quite a few of Midnight Oil, a great band IMO. There best I think is Deisel and Dust, well worth a listen
I will give 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 another go and report back

Catching up on this one as was away on Australia for all of October, our Ruby Wedding treat and Sue's belated 60th Birthday present from Covid lockdown, I just had to go to as well. It is some time since I listen to this one from MO, it has all the aspect of their sound and approach, and is a good album but is not their best offering IMHO, this is from 1982 and unusually some of their later albums seem to be better constructed and produced, this one is a bit OTT production and quite full on. As I mentioned before IMO 'Diesel and Dust' is a must listen and so is 'Blue Sky Mining' and "Earth, and Sun and Moon'.

Giving this another go before voting, I find the vocals too much for me Music good in many places
2/5 for me
