I can see that you deleted a post just a few minutes before you asked the question! Yeah, that's due to the joys of Australian internet. I created the question post, my tablet told me nothing had been posted then a double post - it's fun.

Looks like Furutech both ends. The one you have currently has a FI1363 on one and a base Oyidae IEC on the other. How I have now found an superior UK (approved) mains plug to the Furutech All original plating from both units are removed, pickled (in acid), thoroughly cleaned and degreased. Then plated with the same material that is used in the cables. The cables exhibit ultra low capacitance and inductance, are constructed from raw materials not cable off a reel. The cables do not add anything to the sound of a system, the *physco acoustic* properties they can demonstrate by removing artifacts form the incoming a/c they just simply give more music whilst imbibing a high degree of enjoyablity with no falseness or artificially generated sounds. "but do you REALLY hear a difference or are you": a) Kidding yourself in order to justify the spend Chris I don't have to kid myself to spend my own money, and YES I really do hear a massive difference with the SLIC interconnect installedb) Buying them and spending loads to "look big" Chris I don't spend money to "look big", that's not how I 'get-off'c) Just got nowt better to blow a few quid on? Chris, actually I have lots of other things I could spend my money on, for instance my car is 24 years old, bless her, so a newer car would be one thing but I put more importance on the sound of my system than getting a newer car + I want to try to prove that a Mercedes E Class of 90's vintage can REALLY do 500,000 before needing a re-build, and at the moment I'm on about 306,000 miles...
I can only say that if you try the SLIC cable you might be suitably impressed as I was

There are many factors in any given system which can affect what eventually comes out of your speakers, even the changing of a cable, whether it be a set of IC's, speaker cables, USB cables, etc, etc. I know this to be factual as both myself and my partner have heard it for ourselves. Now, whether that cable costs 20 quid or 500, if it improves upon what was installed previously, then as long as you feel that it was a value purchase and money well spent that is all that really matters.

I TOTALLY agree with you Dave.... and in MY system and using MY ears the SLIC was well worth the extortionate cost

Cables will always be something people have strong opinions one way or the other. I think most of us are capable of making our own choices

Good luck with the interview, and the best thing to do with the Troll is to ignore him. (AndyW) (AndyW - Good luck with yer interview Realysm42! thread)
He's here simply to be an irritant.... Question: how much grief do you need in your life? (Marco) (Marco - SLIC Innovations Eclipse C Cables. thread)
Well A&M I am deeply distraught you feel that way towards me, a Troll & an Irritant indeed... I do realise you would much prefer a cosy little forum where all goes swimmingly, A forum where one is a good egg as long as they agree with your point of view, A forum where the sheep are free to graze & dote, fed on a steady stream of misinformation and bullshit by a minority of Numpty's.
Well enough for now, a wee bit busy, and this will probably vanish as soon as posted......Oh well. I will copy post and add more over at HFS should anyone care to read or indeed add comment.
