An update: I'm afraid the SLIC interconnects are out of my system for good. Since the reconfiguration and improvement of my mains power, the SLICs have proven to have too much edge and not enough body, so I have returned to my Yannis cables which balance the system wonderfully.
My conclusion is that the SLICs would be great at waking up a more mellow or warmly balanced system. In mine, they are too much of a good thing and the Yannis allows it to groove along more rhythmically and coherently.
You live and learn, and it was only through extended listening in my system that I could know this for sure.

Well Martin... in MY system and with MY ears the SLIC interconnect is very good indeed.... I have tried many other cables over time but the SLIC gives me the most natural and best sound ever... Did I ever think I would spend soo much on one interconnect? .... of course not... however I tried to replicate it's performance with other well known, and less expensive cables, but it was not to be.... It HAD to be the SLIC as a keeper... It would have certainly helped my bank balance if the 'other' cables I tried would have been on par but that wasn't to be in my system.. and with MY ears.. I can only recommend what I hear and the SLIC comes very highly recommended from me

Martin/Bev? Heard the Klotz 5000/MS Audio Rhodium cables my mate Brian does? Replaced a set of TQ Black in my system, they are that good. EDIT: *Other cables are good too*

Well Martin... in MY system and with MY ears the SLIC interconnect is very good indeed.... That's fine, Bev. I wasn't disputing what you hear, just giving my opinion of them in my system.

In development Bev, not out yet. Have an early set coming my way. (accusations of shilling? Go away Sirs! - if they are good they are good, if bad I will say!) (i.e. I'm not daft enough to NOT see how that looks, or daft enough to assume other people are that stoopid, genuinely I'm interested to hear them compared to my Klotz which are the best I've heard in my system so far.)
Ooooooh OK... interesting.... what's the cost ?? approx?? compared to the 'C' ?? Shilling.... oh who cares... don't worry about all that c**p...

Gazjam..... No worries.. I don't get involved with all that rubbish.... I just say what I hear in MY system with MY ears... and that's all that matters as far as I am concerned
Tell us all what you think once you have tested them... have you also tried the SLIC 'C' cable/s ??

No, never heard them. They are not something I'd ever consider. Might be great, dunno. I'm more of a bang for buck kinda guy. Traditionally I've always been on a budget hifi wise, and that ethos has never left me.
