Hi folks Newbie here. I just obtained the LB clock and had what I thought was an issue during configuration. After entering the recommended parameters and hitting Update, a message in red saying No PLL Lock appeared bottom right of the configuration panel. It disappeared after a second or two. Being technically challenged, I believed I had bungled the setup. I reached out to Leo Bodnar for assistance. Simon was super fast to respond and help. He assured me this is normal and not a fault. Hope this helps any other nervous Nigels who have the same experience during the configuration process. I always assume its my fault when this sort of thing happens Comes as a nice surprise to find out it is a 'feature'

I hope you are enjoying the Leo Bodnar clock Hi John I am thanks. It's taken me a while to work through my test tracks and get my ears tuned to what's going on. It's like a different DAC! In my room the mids are more resolved (they have been a bit recessed), there's more air in the tops and the bass is more tuneful and dynamic. Soundstage and imaging are also up a notch. A very nice improvement. I'm using the Harmonic Tech copper BNC. The power supply is a Topping P50 but it outputs 5V so I guess I'm on the hunt now for a new power supply if I want to hear the clock at it's best.

Great result I found the cable made the biggest difference. Also try the settings that Tony recommended earlier in this thread.

Fully agree with John and get the settings Tony posted . Also check you have the latest firmware which has a box you can tick which switches the CPU off after thirty seconds and this reduces the noise and the voltage required . I had a 5V LPSU to use with the LB and that was much better than using the USB I have switched for an 8V one but it made very little difference but stopped me wondering . So I would just get things set and live with it for a while I think it lifts the sound quality quite a bit but both the cable and the clock need a fair bit of burn in so if you can use the Cascade Burn in file over a few nights I would say do that .

Cheers Bencat. I have noticed the sound is changing a bit. I may try the regulated PSU I bought from Poland when I had had the Bluesound Node. I just need a gx16 dc cable to fit the clock.
