Hello.
I'm happy to join this topic.
I had to read the whole thing twice because I was totally unfamiliar with the subject of master clocks. I have just sold my DAC and a purchase of the Gustard R26 is planned for the beginning of next March.
So I'm taking the time to learn more about the subject, and the Leo Bodnar product meets all my criteria, based on your testimonials.
I'm still surprised that audiophiles and music lovers haven't taken this discovery by storm. Not expensive enough? Maybe so, but on a personal level, I like it a lot and it's like a nugget in a pile of sand.
Musically well done to all of you.
Jan-Louis / France.

Does anyone know if you can connect a USB cable and update the LB clock while it is still connected to an LPSU ? Because I have my LB directly connected using BNC plugs it is not very easy to access so I would like to still give it the regular set up to ensure it is fully locked to GPS but would prefer to do it in place if possible .

Yes, you can simply connect a USB cable to the LB, this is what l always do, so l can occasionally reset, and then put into sleep mode.

To be honest, only if you are suffering from weak reception, l place my antenna in the window. However if your in a ground floor flat,or don't have a window, this will be a good solution

News in the next couple of weeks from Leo Bodnar Any news about the LB 10Mhz clock? By the way the GPS referenced clocks have increased their prices

Something like a 20% increase - Merry Christmas!

I suddenly realised that this clock needs to be set up with a PC, so it's a non-starter for me and many others. I hope there is Mac compatibility in 2024.

Thanks Jeanlouis I was sure that there was a MAC alternative but I was away from the house and could not get to the site and copy and paste the details . I did not want to state it was there till I had a chance to check and make sure I was not mistaken . As lots of ham radio users also support Apple I was pretty sure that they would have MAC os support .

That is good at least that you can try it but remember the clock will be so much better if you have a decent quality LPSU as well . If you get one ask about the best settings as well as a few on here have the settings to use including using output 2 so that the led light stops flashing on output two when only output 1 is used and the ability once it is place to turn off the CPU which again helps with noise .

I've got three different power supply options with different voltages and will just use whatever sounds best. I've think I've bookmarked best settings from here or elsewhere. Just need to get my new DAC sorted first ...

Just need to get my new DAC sorted first ... That's exactly what l did... using 5 volts,l found the ifi power x performed better than the Zero Zone 01,which surprised me, it had more air. Then l got lucky on a 5 volt ifi Elite, that added a bit more weight, very slightly, but the price was right via ebay. What l would say Jules, the LB isn't that fussy on the PSU, not like adding a PSU to a DAC it's marginal, which makes the LB even better VLF.

I really feel you are missing a trick here boys genuinelly, our clock performs better at one voltage better than the rest, I spent 2 years working that one out lol, also internal upgrades prove beneifcal as well.

No doubt your correct, but there are lots of other factors, one is budget and what you may have to hand. For myself, l am waiting on the new LB clock, and being that there's no information about it yet, or if will we need to invest in a new PSU or will it be on board PSU etc...l am holding off on the PSU front. Personally l've happy with the PSU l am running. So until we know more information, everything is on hold, just waiting on LB now

The clock I sould have had a prototype by now, its a wee be late they are busy on other projects.
I would like to point out the new clock will be pretty much on a four figure cost from discussing that have been had thus far.
Was more suggesting the voltage of the psu to be fair.
