Right music on this morning and I am very happy with what is coming out now given the very small voltage over the connection from the clock I suspect that there is more to come with further burn in but this is now better already than using a cable . Best of all is higher levels of detail but zero hardness unless it is on the recording . This sort of variable change rather than blanket change is what I like to hear . Recordings are all different so there should be sonic differences from recording to recording . I have also changed the LB settings output 1 disabled and using output 2 only and this I think is also an improvement but only a very subtle one .

I agree, the more system improvements I make the more it differentiates recordings. Probably the biggest surprise to me is how many live recordings now sound spectacular compared with early days.

the adapters cost 10usd using my prime account. If its going to cost you 5-10usd to ship to the recipient, its probably better they just buy at amazon. I have my other 4 if you guys are willing to pay shipping, I'll give away the adapters for free.

Sorry I am n the UK and they cost £5 including delivery I can post them for about 0.60p so in my case not that expensive . In fact because of reciprocal agreements I could also post to the US for the same price .

Okay now had a good few hours with the direct connection and a few nights with Cascade burn in . This afternoon after a quick drive to NVA and back turned the system on for a few hours relax after the drive . For the first time there was no change and the sound seems to have settled . Sound is as good as I had hoped all harshness has now gone but the extra detail such as the sound of the keys on a saxophone are there and that very strange bleeding that electric pianos have is easier to hear . I am now very convinced that for my music and my system a direct connection of the LB clock is better than any of the current cables I have and have heard . I now need to find some way of supporting the LB , as a short term measure I have suspended it using fishing line under very slight tension but looking for some thing better underneath it . I have been told that the clock will be very sensitive to vibration but in truth I have heard any issues . I am more concerned with the mechanical stress on the socket so need to find a solution . If nothing else comes to mind then will cut a piece of upholstery foam to size and rest within that .

Hooked up the Tflex cable. My opinion between using adapter or tflex cable, not a big difference. The Tflex actually sound more coherent on my set up. Im not sure what it is. The adapter made my system sound less cohesive. So far i prefer the sound of the tflex
