Singxer su2 specs a 50ohm input 10mhz DDC. This is their quote, "SU-2 supports external 10Mhz clock input, using common 50 ohm input impedance design"

Never thought about doing that which might be a very good thing giving a very short connection without introducing any cable and the differences that can make . I might well consider this using the 50 ohm through connector in this line as well in to my Mutec . Thank you for the tip and as it is not likely to cost much . Just have to find something to raise the LB Clock to the right level to avoid any pressure on the joint . Perhaps it would also be worth just using the through connector on its own as a first step .

i used the blue eva foam pads to raised the cable and the clock so they dont "sag". It works. Its definitely something you need to try, $10 for a pack of five adapters. I think someone mention something like this a while back and it didnt work. Maybe its something else, who knows.

I did try this myself but was a backwards step in my case so went back to using BMC cables

John was the guy that tried this connection first. I somewhat liked the sound. Im sure its not for everyone

Well the BNC extenders are arriving today and one will go on the end of the 50 OHM through connector I will then be able to connect the LB direct to the mutec with no wire and see what that sounds like . Will need to give it some time for burn in and hopefully a few nights with Tara Labs Cascade playing will be enough . Only thing about this though is that the signal from the LB to the Mutec is very small and it may well need quite a long time for full burn in and being able to hear exactly what is going on . I may be sometime ......

Sorry BNC extenders not arrived yet . Will be doing so once they arrive but need to give things time to burn in and settle down before i make too much of a comment .

Okay extenders delivered and after a bit of shuffling LPSU around all connected . First thing is straight after switch on music emerged it sounded fine but after all the additions I have made I know things will need to burn in so no real comments until it has had a good few hours using the Cascade track . Power amp off and leaving that going today and tonight . Will sit down tomorrow and take my first real listen then get back with my thoughts .
