You really need to try the streaming option and even try out some files

In case you were wondering why on earth did I fork out all that dough on the Bluesound
I'm going towards streaming and going through a process where I wean myself off buying CDs I was spending far too long researching and listening to albums before buying them. That has now drastically reduced as I don't have to listen to them before buying
Some albums are middle ground. IE could be good but not sure they would grow enough. Now I leave them for another time, or not at all.
There are albums I want to listen to that are either not available or at a crazy price When that number reaches critical mass it will be time to stream. Unlikely to be next week, probably not next month. Month after, could be.
I like using CDs as I can listen in the dark or low light. I don't want a device with a screen. Maybe Alexa can help ...

If you have a screen you can turn it off or face down as soon as your music selection is made - darkness.
I used an old Google Pixel XL as interface device. That battery died totally, when daughter borrowed the charger and it ran down totally. Now I'm using an even older Motorola G5. Any old Android will do🙂 Doesn't need to be a tablet etc just to cue music. In fact the Moto shows me the next 8 tracks, without scrolling down and has all the functionality of a big tablet screen. I'm not that into album art, can zoom in anyway.
This way my main phone is free for Tapatalk, Instagram, News, by Jove even a phone call😱😂
Get Qobuz up and running.. You'll never look back

I set my tablet screen to almost the lowest brightness which makes it last a week on a charge.

Thanks Steve. There's got to be an answer for that. I would prefer to run it from my laptop but I have a tablet and the phone to choose from When I get going I will try all of them Just remembered MartinT had a tablet when I went to visit. BubbleUPNP running Qobuz and it looked a fairly dark screen which could work for me. Gold like colour on black ?

Qobuz streaming info please
Does Qobuz have BENT - Intercept! Deluxe Edition ?
YouTube and Spotty have it. Never heard of the Deluxe until just now and doesn't seem to be on CD at all The opposite of what I've seen before
The pendulum moves towards streaming a touch

Over time, you'll find more music is on streaming only and will never see a CD release.

Another nudge towards streaming
The extras on this one may only be MP3 but not seen on CD at all
