Comparisons between CD and tablet underway. Stephen Stills - Stills. Great music but muffled on both, shame Volume higher on tablet. Working out the difference so I can compare properly
Quick comparison says there is little difference in sound quality between CD and YT Music Magic grabbing music out of the air and playing it on the system
Can I make Android perform more like W10, and still keep the LDAC in place ?

]Can I make Android perform more like W10, and still keep the LDAC in place ? My understanding is that modern Chromebooks comes with Android 11 so should be able to do BT I have not tried this and have no idea if this works. Let alone sounds good.

Would be nice to have but no need to change the tablet. Maybe I will get used to current Android

First proper comparison now knowing the volume difference is around 6-7dB
Tablet and YT Music into Bluetooth first - good CD smoother, more joined up, easier on the ear.
CD the winner but has the advantage of being in the same box as the DAC and Pre The Bluetooth box, around £30 on AliExpres is plugged via USB directly into mains, doing a very good job for the money
Research on which platforms have the best range of music for me.

Bluetooth at it best for watching a live performance on YouTube if ultimate sound quality then get a decent streamer but will not be cheap

With regards to platforms, you can only judge with a decent streamer. Bluetooth hard to tell apart but I prefer YouTube
