Lots to learn and hopefully TAS has most of the answers with the members I assume we can change supplier fairly easy, 1 month cancellation for all ? Initially and probably most important long term is the supplier with the most amount of music I want to listen to. Great quality sound is no good without the albums When I Google I see the answers from Spot. YT. Apple. Deezer No Quboz though. How can I include Quboz ? Two things: 1) search all the services, 2) check that your selected solution supports as many of them as possible, giving you the best selection. For instance, not many support Amazon Music or YouTube Music. What happens when you go to play.qobuz.com ? Can you use the search without logging in? Adding "Qobuz" to the search shows me if they have it, although I can't play it. Have to have an account to use it About the subs. Is it usually for a year for all of them or are there other alternatives ?

About the subs. Is it usually for a year for all of them or are there other alternatives ? No, I do them all monthly. I was only suggesting the Qobuz link for searching, you cannot play anything without a sub. Why not come over again and I can play you the same music on Spotify and Qobuz so that you can listen critically. You can also hear YouTube via Bluetooth and some files on Google Drive and OneDrive as a comparison. You can make notes and it'll help inform your decision.

Thanks Martin Only need to know if Qobuz has various albums and artists Let me do research first as my first step - as well as setting up the Android tablet properly Google Drive and OneDrive not on my radar at all Nova Fidelity file player is there somewhere I expect a slow journey as my main objective of great music on a great system is already here More, new music is the lesser

Remember to make sure LDAC is engaged in the Bluetooth settings and in Developers Options under the Bluetooth you have 96/24 It defaults 96/32 which dose not sound as good. Also set at best sound for audio. This only makes a difference on some equipment.

Different route into Developer for me and many options
Developer options: BT options :
Disable absolute volume - could be good as very loud
AVRCP Version Options - 1.4 / 1.3 / 1.5 / 1.6
Audio Codec- LDAC selected but doesn't always stick
Audio Sample rate. Options System default / 44.1 / 48 / 88.2 / 96
Audio bits per sample - Default / 16 / 24 / 32
LDAC Audio Playback Optimised 990/909 or Balanced 660/606 - Optimised for connection 330/303 / Best effort
Bit lost here

First of all, well done getting into the developers' option I use the following settings for Youtube Sample rate 96 This stays the same Audio bits 24 Bluetooth audio codec 990 best for audio Volume. I use the DAC preamp to control this rather than turning the volume on my tablet.

Change the settings to what you recommend above
Come out of Developer Options Go back in to Developer Options to check
They all go back to previous settings SBC 44.1 16 bits Best effort
Is there another setting I need to change ?

You need to stay in Developer mode to retain them, Mike. Otherwise, everything reverts to safe settings.

Oh !
Do the settings, minimise the Developer window and back to the music then !
Testing tomorrow

Changes didn't stick
What did stick was Make the changes Turn Developer mode off
Makes a degree of sense
- now I can't see Developer mode to check of course
So I could have the best settings...
