Zero Zone power supply for the router has slits in the top so I tried 3 granite coasters front and 3 back rather than covering with a placemat
Mad More detail, more width to the sound, more flowing and more music
Get your weights out guys

Very similar to the ones I have, bought from Morrisons years ago.

System sounding very good on the album playlist of very well known, to me, albums Thinking about the system sounding better and the irrelevant (?!) change I made On top of the RTZ grounding box I *had* a couple granite placemats plus 2 weights for lifting exercise, grabbed as spare and seemed a good idea at the time... Changed to 3 granite placemats, 2 steveeb Electric Beach plinths and another granite placemat on top of that An Electric Beach sandwich Overall weight is about the same, probably less. There was always some sort of magic going on with Steve's plinths - could it be absorption ? Steve used to make plinths to order and may be amenable electricbeachaudio.com/Did this to tidy up. Didn't expect sound differences. Will test this properly. Check total weight and compare old to new weight Swap around and listen One question to answer : The weight improves sound quality Does the material also have an effect ?

In any case, they are both excellent products that absorb and dampen.

Rack shelf space becoming tighter
Thought
Grounding boxes are heavy, take up space Wonder what will happen if I try one on top of some kit
Don't hold your breath, but I will be trying it sometime

Wonder what will happen if I try one on top of some kit Can't do any harm as long as the kit is well isolated and not passing vibrations through to the grounding box, and the box itself is well isolated.

Because I have a little more space, I just have weights on both the components and grounding boxes separately, with granite coasters if possible. The shelves are further isolated and then the equipment stand again isolated.
The only kit on top of kit is the U18 on the X26 Pro, keeping them close for short cables.
