Even the highlights show didn't have many highlights, just padded out to fill the hour, street circuits suck.

Well, that wraps up another world championship. A combination of an excellent car and a currently unbeatable driver was looking on the cards for the win from early days. Ferrari had a competitive car but rubbish strategy, Mercedes improved their car but so did their competitors, leaving them still the 3rd best team. The Suzuka circuit is still one of the greatest in the world but this year was sadly wasted.

And the very next day the fia confirm rbr are in breach of the cost cap regs Somewhere between 10p and 7.5 million quid ish. A mil buys a lot of performance in the year in question, could have been dumped into the development of this years championship winning car, who knows.
Rbr have dropped a right bollock with this. If it was 10 quid over the fia would not be bothered so it must be a relatively large figure and the legitimacy of two championships is now in question which is a massive disservice to verstappen

It's a massive disservice to the whole of F1. There's always been something distasteful about Marko and Spiceboy, so I'm not entirely surprised.

Slowly but surely Mercedes are pulling back the gap to Red Bull, while Ferrari continue to flounder.
Russell and Hamilton front row lockout for the first time this season (Sainz takes a penalty for another engine). Verstappen has every chance of taking them both for the lead, unfortunately.

Holy moly that was action-packed and I've only seen the highlights. A well-deserved win for Russell, great fight back for Hamilton to give Mercedes the 1-2, excellent 3rd for Sainz. Verstappen revealed his true colours as the dirty fighter yet Hamilton was wise to him and would not yield - but lost a lot of places in that missile attack. Perez made a memorable radio statement with "It shows who he really is" about Verstappen. Ferrari looked stronger today.

Finally the most boring season in years is over Race result was a foregone conclusion, as per usual verstappen buggered off into the distance and perez missed the mark to deny rbr the one two in the championship
Far too long a season
