My first ones took a couple of weeks to sound much at all. The next lot were instant. Did they change the construction? Schrodinger has postulated

Mine were quick to work and have then continued to improve. My super duper Coherent RTZ started off amazingly well - and improved from there

So... if we look inside one, the contents may change?

I had forgotten that I am missing one QA box - I have an Aucharm XL on the P10 regenerator. Every other key component has a QA box grounding it.
I've just ordered one more and will put the XL on mains duty to join the ever growing collection dedicated to suppressing mains noise.

I'm sure I've raised this before, but wondering if anyone has any thoughts.
All my grounding boxes are Quartz Acoustic Premium. They are all running at room temperature, currently 19.0C using my IR thermometer gun, except one.
The QA on the Rendu streamer runs at 21.2C, consistently 2C above the others. There is no obvious source of heat nearby, in fact the two running on the DDC and DAC are slightly closer to heat sources.
So, can anyone do the maths on how much energy is required to raise the temperature of a 2kg box by 2C above ambient? Is it possible it's sinking this much energy in noise, or is something else going on?
I do find it fascinating!

Sounds mad, or an insight into what on earth is going on in the box Assume you have swapped them around and found there is still a temp difference

Assume you have swapped them around and found there is still a temp difference I did a while ago, might try it again.

I now have four grounding boxes. SGS-1 Aucharm Silent Point RTZ1 (with three connections).
RTZ1 and one other will be with: Streamer and power supply Network switch and power supply Dac DDC Integrated amp
Two boxes will be with: Second switch and dual power supply Wifi router and dual power supply Modem and power supply
How am I best to utilise these? Attached to what kit? Frame, or inputs etc?
One thing I won't be doing is attaching anything to power cables/oulets.

Use a spare input or output if there is one. For router, try and clip to the GND of the DC plug, or otherwise fabricate an adapter like mine. I would have said, the Silent Point is ideal for mains power ground close to your system. Is there a reason you don't want to do this?
Don't prioritise the analogue amplifier or power supplies, use on digital kit.

Did read somewhere a grounding box is possibly detrimental on a streamer? I'm thinking I can run two cables from one grounding output to the same item. Will end up with a Puritan PSM156 mains conditioner. Already have an Akiko Audio Fuse Box Unit on the power line. And an Add Powr Symphony to try out.

A QA grounding box is very beneficial on my streamer. I clip to the SFP outer casing.

Connected via a USB port (AliExpress lead), very positive impact.

Assume you have swapped them around and found there is still a temp difference I did a while ago, might try it again. OK, whatever is causing it is location specific. After swapping the boxes around, each acquires the temperature of the previous one. Nothing magical to puzzle over
