Can anyone advise where to start in my system with adding grounding boxes?
My thinking is this, please correct me based on your experience.
Power conditioner Melco Music Server Network switches (2) feeding digital sources Router Preamp Blu-ray Player (movies only) Sky Box
Thanks in advance.

Buy 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 Get different cables and try them in various places, including your mains socket nearby

Start with the music server. Then the router. Where's the DAC?

The DAC is in the preamp. Should that be next?

I would go with preamp/DAC, then music server, then router going back along the chain.

I have 6 grounding boxes on mains duty now. Combined, they do a good job with the SNS, Sercal and Vertex plug-ins.

To save me wading through lots of threads, which specific box should I get first, to try with either U18 or DAC? A link would be appreciated.

In my system the long Aucharm works best on the mains (I only hear a slight difference on the R26), but don't overdo it (just one in my case as was a backwards step adding more in my system) I have no experience with the QA boxes that Martin and Mike are using. I also use the Aucharm (small) on the router. Mike what is experience between the RTZ and QA boxes. In my experience running all the spare connections from the R26 has the best results with the RTZ2.

Mike what is experience between the RTZ and QA boxes. In my experience running all the spare connections from the R26 has the best results with the RTZ2. Not easy to do in my set up. I have yet to compare them as not quite sure how I can The RTZ takes all the connections from the D-1000 and M2500, total of 9 into one box The QA and Silent Point boxes are croc clipped to the earth box and plugged into mains. One connection per box only

The QA Premium and Aucharm both appear to be 90 quid + shipping at the moment.

Go for the QA then, much better effect. You may pay import duty - bit of a lottery.

The QA Premium is better than the big brother of the Aucharm, the Silent Point in my system

Ready to order a QA.
Thought best to start with grounding the DAC. It has unused RCA sockets - best to ask for a cable with RCA plug and not the croc? Croc clip more versatile I guess so could try the box on the reclocker.

Croc clip more versatile I guess so could try the box on the reclocker. Jordan at QA is very friendly and helpful. You can ask for a phono cable instead of the universal croc clip and he should supply you with one. Croc clip is easier to test on different things, though. When you place the order, it doesn't include Fedex shipping. He will send you a separate payment request for the shipping.

Just ordered my first four grounding boxes from QA. Jordan informed me of a 4 week wait as he had so many orders.
Not easy being patient.
