Hello from Ireland. I heard about this forum on Cix; Martin, were you once a member there? Your name seems familiar.
I have had, buillt or purchased hifi since the late 1970s. Mostly in the early days it was what I could make myself. My present hifi systems are getting a bit old and are beginning to become unreliable. When I started looking for new ideas, I asked in the Music forum in Cix There it was suggested that I would get good ideas on this forum.
I'll post some specific questions in other messages, other areas.

It's great that you found us here. That's a nice part of the world there, that you come from. I visited that part of Ireland a few times years ago on business trips. I know West Cork better though.
