Well, after lots of testing, the answer is.. well at least it seems to be;
-Clear a large playlist before you select another one.
Do this every time without fail.
-Stick to usual album sized playlists or just enqueuing a stream of tracks to play of an evening, and it doesn't cause the problem.
Everything else apart from Rendu hw itself, I've swapped out and tested to confirm not the cause.
Unless it's a physical buffer size issue in Rendu I don't see it as a HW fault.
The fact that others do get the problem, randomly, or however infrequently suggests it's not just me.
I can provoke it to fail with fairly extreme chopping and changing of large playlists, jumping tracks, doing these things over and over..
But then again, it's infrequent, not every time or even over several extended listening sessions.
My findings are with Sonore.
I'm happy to follow my own avoidance findings and use Rendu for it's excellent sound.

Yeah hope so.
Just had another use case fail. Happened this evening as I popped out to change the zone on our irrigation dripper system.
Took the controlling Android device off WiFi coverage and returned, reselecting Rendu and played one track, selected another and whoops!
Workaround;
- never move the controlling device off the network while playing🙂

I have had the controller drop wi-fi a couple of times (usually after a 4G mast glitch, which drops wi-fi). It just needs Bubble to be restarted.
