As a workaround, try uninstalling all the apps and reinstalling them again. I got my 2.7 out of a spot of bother that way once. Thanks will try. I got some "the current state of Java script cannot perform task... " errors appearing, so def not happy SW.

Found the DLNA clear cache etc settings in the Ultrarendu interface.
Did that, then in bubble I couldn't sign back in to Qobuz on the usual device I using.
Authentication fit Qobuz failed, Def right details.
Tried my phone (also had bubble/rendu set up). Worked like a charm.
It's playing again. Again I don't really know what I did, as repeatable steps to resolve more easily next time.
This evening was particularly persistent and troublesome.
When is playing it sounds glorious!
Now to try and get Qobuz signed in from my controller of choice.
Edit; only way around the Qobuz authentication failed was to uninstall and reinstall Bubble UPnP - how odd. Clearing the DLNA cache in Ultrarendu, looses signin details up tidal etc it says - fair enough. Can't see why that would glitch the Bubble app

I've never had it that bad with any Rendu, but then again I had 2.8 almost from day one.
Old protocol expectations mixed with new protocols?

Yes, it really got into a state last night.
I reinstalled Bubble on the failing to Authenticate Qobuz device. Worked fine.
My new listening mantra "Must avoid playing a playlist, must AVOID playing a playlist, MUST AVOID PLAYING A PLAYLIST"
And
"Don't touch the little triangle ▶️ above the playlist tracks"

All good advice there. I make sure to update my Rendu regularly, it doesn't take long.

I'm doing a bit of demoing the system over the weekend.
Hope Ultrarendu can hold it together long enough.
Back up plans at the ready. Good old Vinyl and jazz (nice) at the ready. Have to install the tonearm and connect the phonostage..

This evening I kept away from playing playlists, I set the max res to 24/96 in local & cloud / Qobuz, and kept off all the cracks in the pavement.
Didn't glitch / 0.00 lock up once.

My new listening mantra "Must avoid playing a playlist, must AVOID playing a playlist, MUST AVOID PLAYING A PLAYLIST" And "Don't touch the little triangle ▶️ above the playlist tracks" Pesky things playlists . . . . . I don't have a single playlist on my music server!

LOL, I don't use a playlist as a playlist, I use them in order to catalogue collections of music I like. A quick lookup and reminder by genre. Then I'll play the album or a section of the album.

Hmm, If i like an album / want to come back, I make it a playlist to be able to find it easily. I do this in the Qobuz app and reload in Bubble if necessary. But with V2.7 don't touch that top triangle in Bubble! I don't find the search feature in bubble that fun to use. I do have a couple of playlist, demo tracks, bass tests etc.

That is odd about Qobuz, they don't have an option or folder for Albums, just Favourites or Playlists. Mildly irritating - what's wrong with the simplicity of Favourites (for tracks etc), Playlists and Albums. That's logical to my brain, just doing something different isn't always a clever idea. It's not winning me over after 24 hours, but i'll stick at it.
Steve, interested in how you actually manage/play everything. I assume you make playlists and album lists in Qobuz, which is handled on a Pi then sent to your Rendu, or have I got that wrong?
I was considering a Rendu but this sounds like it could have some stability issues.

I put the first track in a playlist.
Click show album, then the big Play arrow. Bubble and the Rendu plays the whole album.

I was considering a Rendu but this sounds like it could have some stability issues. I was Volumio / Qobuz -> RPI/Kali reclocker and in native I2S Now I'm Bubble UPnP / Qobuz -> Ultrarendu -> Gustard and in SPdif (I might still try with WaveIO after Gustard (no RPi etc then). WaveIO just converts and irons out USB and converts to native I2S, should it need ironing.. might work, might not. It's a future mini project. Yes, about albums / playlists, just have a save album option. I do sometimes add a few extra tracks to an album but not many. I'd like to have artist and then sub folders for multiple albums and playlists. Seems logical?! No such feature though. Forgot to say. Ultrarendu played ball all demo session👍 Sounded amazing and wowed.

It's a bit early to say for certain, but I've repeated the fault a few times thus far, and with a change of settings had it go away seemingly completely for extended use..
With Qobuz set to max 24/96 I can't get Ultrarendu to fall over.
I can press play ▶️ on all the normal and long playlists I have, to my heart's content over and over.. Let then flow, or hop about The longest Qobuz I have is 92 tracks long!😳
It's nice to do this because when demoing, all those tracks are in the Playlist tab in Bubble, and you can jump from Playing now to Playlist and pick any track you like, back to playing now to show it, back to queued playlist in Bubble etc .
I assume it failing with 192KHz tracks was one of the bugs V2.8 fixes? Hope so anyway.
Oh, just had a track skip halfway through to next track, also a known bug.. not a show stopper that one!

It's still set in the menu.. Have had the occasional track skip to next when in a playlist. But with res set to 24/96 I can load my 92+ track long playlist and it just works.. I can't make it fall over, and the Function Tester in me has tried, believe me 😂 V2.8 should be with me early next week.

I think you need v2.8 (fully updated) because none of those things happen to me.
