We sleep with the windows open. What amazes me are people who drive their cars with all the vents closed. All mine are open and stay that way. I open the windows in the daytime when the temp allows Used to borrow a Saab and always found all the vent closed. Saabs have pollen filters too The smaller particulates can pass through pollen filters, if the size data is anything to go by. Could be that is driving the vent shut logic.

These are fairly advanced. Took me a while to get up to the full reps specified. Even doing a few of each in the beginning was very good for my back (don't do if you actually have a bad back, do once recovered and to strengthen). In my experience - I've not had a bad back since doing these every other day. thecoachcrew.com/7-core-exercises-every-tennis-player-should-do/

Bed Sheets. What do you have, recommended ?
Good sleep is essential I trust we all agree.
We have a Vi-Spring wonderful bed. Recommended.
Egyptian cotton is a great material for bed sheets and quilt covers
What about this alternative stuff ? Eucalyptus Bamboo others ?

For me, it's been a bit of self-diagnosis and spotting cause/effect of late. There being no GPs or consultants available to see (and, frankly, telephone calls without testing are pretty useless), I've had to monitor and make some assumptions.
Sugar levels are gradually returning to sensible, but not quite what they were before. Aches and pains are improved. I have no idea of cholesterol but assume it may be a bit high at the moment. Continue with normal drugs, monitor levels, take plant sterol cholesterol reducers. Avoid COVID again.

Worth a call to 111 or how about Livi ?

I got close to calling a couple of weeks ago but I think I'm on the up now.
It's given me a renewed wariness of what COVID can do, though. As if we didn't know already.

About every other day John Campbell, YouTube comes up with something else that is or may be long lasting effects. The more we learn the scarier it becomes. Hopefully we can learn enough to sort out how to fix it
In the meantime we're not going out. Next to no visitors and they stay outside. Boss's son and lady visiting at the weekend. Camping in the garden (!) Food delivered

Deafening silence Can breathing help your health ? Yup Studies not to hand. My experience says absolutely. A mild asthmatic my breathing can be problematic. Last test I had the nurse said my lungs were like a punter 20 years younger. Ten reps of 10-40-20 three times a day keeps them that way. Breathing deeply and steadily is a good thing Holding oxygen in the lungs is good Slow relaxed release of breath also good. Calms and relaxes. Feels better after than before. Only read this thread today , ok I tried it at the wrong time walking the dog , 10 strides breathing in , 40 strides holding , but no way could I breathe out for 20 , is this the recommended ratio Mike ?

Deep breathing always good. I do it sometimes walking my pack out in the fresh air and fields Be at rest for 1-4-2 breathing. I breathe in and out deeply 10 times before starting. That can wake me up very nicely When you first start try 4 - 16 - 8 Try to repeat for 10 times If difficult go to 3 - 12 - 6 If easy go to 5 - 20 - 10 10 - 40 - 20 is probably a few weeks off - Was for me as a mild asthmatic could be easier for others

I don't have any breathing issues so I found it wasn't difficult , is there any advantage stepping it up again Mike although I would think exhaling for 30 would be beyond me .

My guess it will be good to go up as I believe it is holding the oxygen in the lungs Did you inhale and exhale fully ?
