What have you enjoyed?
Saw this a couple of weeks ago. Jerry will very much like this I suspect!

Fancy spending over a million bucks on a system... and then listening to musical pap like that!

I pretty much heard that at Munich 2019 - same speakers and 6 chassis amps.
It's surprisingly decent. A massive recovery from the same speakers in an earlier setup at Munich.
I spent a long time in there over multiple visits. A good sign.
It's not that neutral with a pronounced mid bass but I really liked it.
Worth the money? Hm, no. But very enjoyable.
The setup I heard had horn subs too.

Even over YouTube that female voice sounds 'horny' to my ears. Very few horn speakers have ever impressed me in the midrange.

It's really hard NOT to be influenced by what you hear on YT. But it is usually bollocks. You need to be there, with your own recordings. BTW she does try to do a really good job and she does the best she can. But it is a bit of a futile exercise I think.

Yes, I know that judging anything sound-wise over YouTube is futile. However, the female voice (not the narrator, the bit of sung vocal over the system) has that characteristic horn sound

Amp's got 813s! Amp's got 813s! Mine's got FU13s! Regarded by some to be better. And it only cost £260! Sorry. But I'd be asking for me money back. Sounded like I had compacted wax in my ears. Either it actually was an indication of the sound itself - or the recording was pretty woefully captured. Or a combination of the two. But, to me, it was lacking in so many areas, so much so, I couldn't be bothered to listen all the way through, first time. I made the effort with a second go. On the first track I thought the piano was really lacking. There was just no solidity to it. Lower down in the range there was a lack of separion. And I think I'd be bunging a few capacitors in for a bit of edge. I'd rather listen to this, or something from Mr S. And spend the rest of the money on a Lotus 7 S2, Jaffa Cakes, Quavers, and the odd loose woman (the odder the better): theaudiostandard.net/thread/1083/favourite-hifi-vids?page=3

You've fallen into the trap.

... the trap being that we don't have a million bucks to spend on a system, so it doesn't actually matter what we think or say. Let's keep our delusions that we'd spend our money more wisely if we had the chance. I hope he is happy with his choices of gear and music. Anyway, my guess is that guy already has a couple of Lotus 7 S2 in one of his many garages.

Nah he's probably got something decent like: What annoys me is when people bear grudges when people have a lot of money. Pretty pathetic really. Point taken if you haven't got it you can't have it, though. What amazed me between two Munich's as inferred earlier I have heard those speakers sound both dreadful and really good. Right up there with the very best in the world. Go figure.

meh, not enough ground clearance on that buggy - it'll be tatted up in no time after a few pot holes.

I have to confess that I actually had no idea what a Lotus 2 S7 was. I did assume it was a car and not a phone case. Looks like fun.

I find Doug deMuro's car videos rather annoying after a while. Anything unusual is 'weird', a word he over-uses to an alarming extent.
