From a Qobuz recommended! Turn it up and it's "You're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off" 30Hz at first, then 20Hz on tap with plenty of energy.  Whole album is like it no doubt. This one certainly is  The 'Nike' track is something that would be at home in The Expanse Beltalowda dodgy nightclub bar😂 A must listen Martin Eartha😂😂 |

I guess they added it later to get 'down wif da kids' - you and I Martin🙂 Back in the day everything below 35Hz is rolled off, tuned out (cartridge response as well) soon the needle stayed in the groove. |

Different perceptions on bass and the power of bass is definitely equipment related. Daughter uses headphones a lot. Nice Bose ones🙂 She though this track give great bad on my system.  Here's the peak plot  Truly gobs at 50Hz! Not much below. Compare that to for example Nurse Droid - The Mandalorian. Really rocks the sofa and room..  |

This is from the 24/192 remaster of the Pink Floyd Animals album, Dogs. I've never heard serious bass in this album before. 26Hz! I listened to nearly the whole track. By today's standards it's average-fi for me. I didn't find any sub 39Hz bass to speak of. It's inline with what you'd expect of the era. 4 string 39Hz bass. Safe for vinyl, at 35Hz was down the 'run for the hills' dB range. Strange that you got that plot Martin. Did it sounds bassy too?  Edit: aha, found the right hi-res one😳 Much more hifi! They've def added some deep that was not there before.  Sheep is my favourite track.. "Bleating and babbling, we fell on his neck with a scream" It's been underpinned, but not to the extent of Dogs.  |

Strange that you got that plot Martin. Did it sounds bassy too? Only for about 1m during Dogs. It sounded like it was either bass boosted or they put it in there. I had to go back to take that measurement. |

To see what all the fuss is about🙂  Solid and constant 32Hz on this track  Usual meh - the track Vigilante shit, stands out for me. No deep bass there though. |
