I last saw them 10 years ago, also in Potsdam. Yes, great fun (and superb musicians too). I'm looking forward to it.

Speaking of concerts in Germany: One of the gigs I shall be attending is Wilco, who I last saw in Berlin. It was memorable for many reasons, but the main one was that it was the night before the 2016 US Presidential election results were announced. Someone in the audience yelled out something derogatory about Trump and Jeff Tweedy said: "Yeah, I know. It's OK, don't worry. We got this".
Somehow, I knew he was wrong.
The gig was great, though.

In November I am going to see Heilung at the Roadhouse in Chalk Farm I managed to presude a friend to come So how to describe Heilung They certainly stand out visually kind of like being in a scene from the Vikings. The music is very rhythm based almost trance like but also quite dark, like you about to enter an ancient world If you brave enough check them out on YouTube but be warned this is either love or hate

We are going to the Upton Blues festival in 2 1/2 weeks. Can't wait, always an amazing atmosphere.
Not all blues music but a great festival.

I saw Stereophonics last night. They wouldn’t be something I’d listen to, but my wife used to like them, so we went with her friends. They put on a decent show and the vocals were spot on which is sometimes not the case for a live performance. As always, the queue for the beer was too long and I’ve a sore head today
