Madagascan hissing cockroaches I’m looking for homes for some home bred Madagascan hissing cockroaches. They are gentle, quiet, odourless and harmless creatures and make good pets. They need very little care, they eat most vegetables and fruit. Their housing will need to be secure - a small vivarium or plastic insect keeper - and don’t require extra heating or lighting. I can supply a mix of females or males or just one sex if you don’t want them to breed.
-I wouldn't hurt them but I certainly don't want them as pets

... - Applause from this punter Does this mean there are loads of people needing clothes which are just being binned ? It does indeed, Mike, and the trouble is that a lot of clothing is pretty-much designed to be disposable these days, so people just throw stuff away. Many people don't even recycle their clothes, they send them straight to landfill. Another problem is that your favourite big-name high-street charity shop probably sends around half of clothing donated to them overseas, where it can be sold more profitably than in the UK. What's left is either sold in their shops or sent to landfill. Small local charities and shelters are the best bets for donations if people want to see their unwanted clothing actually going to the people they intend it to help.
