A minor update - there is no update. The latest tracking from AliExpress and Royal Mail was posted on the 14th - 5 days ago.
It's taking longer to leave than a psycho girlfriend I once had.

I think I said earlier - AliExpress tracking seems to stop at that point. The next thing that'll happen is your doorbell will ring.

And 5 minutes ago, while installing it, I found out that the hub's power socket is a non-standard size. I'm off to Amazon to look for an adaptor now. It's either that or start splicing leads.

Yay and boo!
I'm sure you'll get it going soon. I've also ordered a DC plug for my hub so that I can solder in a flying grounding wire.

I could sort it by swapping the Smart Hub - I'm currently using a "Type A" hub, but I've got a brand new "Type B" knocking about which has the more standard 5.5mm x2.1mm 12v input. I'm resisting that, though, because it would mean reconfiguring every device on the network with the new SSID.

Just change the SSID to be the same one?

Just change the SSID to be the same one? DOH! Oh well, I've got an adaptor arriving on Thursday, now.

I even got a "thank you" from the vendor.

Have you tested it, Paul?

Have you tested it, Paul? I've got my NETGEAR GS208 running from it, and both outputs work. I haven't taken any measurements though.

Good enough. Are you powering both the router and the switch from it? Do you need more ports than the router provides?

Good enough. Are you powering both the router and the switch from it? Do you need more ports than the router provides? Yes, that's why I ordered a dual 12v output, and yes, I've got my Pi/Volumio, my Fire TV box, both Disk Stations, and the TV, all running wired. I'll probably run a cat6 lead (which I've already got, somewhere) to the PC at some stage too.

The adapter has arrived and has been fitted, and my Smart Hub and my Netgear Gigabyte Switch are both now running happily from the new PSU. My journey is finally complete.
