I must read up on the ES9039 Pro and see what they've changed in it. From the ESS product brief it looks like they wasted a bit of effort in including MQA... It sounds like rather small changes, the inclusion of MQA (why bother), and perhaps they've fixed the noise hump if compared with a badly implemented 9038. Add some extra features. Gustard already added their own digital filter.
