.... There really is no going back once you hear what they can do. Well, I wouldn't say that myself! But that's probably just me. I often read forum posts saying "I could never go back from xyz" ... where xyz could be valve amps, panel speakers, electrostatic transducers, balanced cables ... etc etc. I happily swap to and fro with all of them!

What cables are you using and any plans to change ?
I have Coherent BDU cable from RTZ 3 box to TAD Pre/CD and TAD Power Amp
Silent Point cable from Silent Point box onto the earth block where the power comes into the house Quartz Acoustic cable from a Silent Point box into a mains socket next to system Quartz Acoustic cable from a Quartz Acoustic box onto Tivo RCA

In order to neatly ground my router to a grounding box, I knocked up a little adapter consisting of a 2.1mm DC socket and DC plug connected back-to-back with solid core wire as a through adapter, with a flying lead for grounding. Seen below is the red incoming 12V power and the flying ground wire connected to the grounding box blue alligator clip. It's simple, it cost a couple of Pounds and it works (better sound quality). I've just received my AliExpress 14AWG pure silver grounding cable. Unlike the standard copper version, which is overall sheathed, this one has each fine core sheathed in its own insulation, making for a slightly thicker cable overall. It's now connected to the DAC for its first trial, since the DAC is where conversion happens so is likely the most sensitive component for ground noise. I'll report back in a day or two, when I've formed an opinion.

I never did report back on this 14AWG pure silver version of the AliExpress grounding box cable. To be honest, I haven't heard anything to differentiate it from the excellent value 11AWG silver-plated version although my testing is nowhere near exhaustive (because of the delayed effect of connecting and reconnecting grounding boxes). I'd say save your money and buy the very good cheaper cables. They're all good. What I do like about these ones is the phono cap at one end and 4mm plug at the other end are both firm connections and won't come loose. Alligator clips are more problematic (but I do use them for SFPs). www.aliexpress.com/item/4000457635607.html

Connecting a cable with an RJ45 to a grounding box had crossed my mind
This from Jordan at Quartz Audio
".. RJ45 is now available as one of the termination. But do take note certain RJ45 implementation in the equipment, the ground may be isolated. So using that for ground box connection may yield no result.
To check, use a multimeter on continuity mode and touch the metal part surrounding the RJ45 with one probe and touch the other probe with other ground of the equipment and see if that beeps to confirm."
Those with greater technical ability than I can perhaps check that out Would be interesting to hear the results from an RJ45 grounding cable

I personally would not ground an RJ45 without careful checking of what kind of connections it uses. Most ethernet cores float without a defined ground. You'd be better off grounding the components at both ends, as I do with the router and EtherREGEN.

I certainly wouldn't ground an RJ45 without very clear evidence it was perfectly safe Too much hidden from view, and my knowledge (lack of)

I have attached my QA box to my switch by just clipping it in the metal surround of the rj45 inputs. That works really well.

Croc clips deemed to be not perfect but if there is nothing else
My RJ45 sockets seem all plastic. Did I miss summat ?

No - I concocted an adapter for my router. See further up the thread.
