Mike; I can't remember but think I read you were having trouble using Bubble Upnp to add to playlists that are first created in the Qobuz app?
I've found mConnect does this faultlessly from the Browser option on the track or album, once you have browsed to track etc, for example in Favourites or searched for something. You can also create new named playlists and they appear in the Qobuz app as you'd expect.
Apologies if this was not the problem you were having.

Sound quality Ease of use other ?

It's concise, super fast, never throws a 501 error or procrastinates as Bubble does for me, allows adding a whole huge search or massive playlist to the queue / play direct without ever (so far, giving me the lock up of death to Rendu). It sounds the same. Why wouldn't it? It's the same Upnp method. Turn the phone off and Rendu keeps playing, it's not in the loop other than the control to cue up the next track. Perhaps the fact that it feeds Rendu one track at a time is the salvation from errors / lockups? I like the fact it clears its queue and stops playing if you quit the app but the phone / tablet is on.. Very easy to set up vs Bubble. It doesn't have umteen complex options under menu sub categories to choose from either.

I have 501s show but it carries on playing 99% of the time I can turn off tablet and Rendu keeps playing Very easy to set up for those who don't like setting anything up ? Did you have them both on your phone to compare for a while, and no clashes ?

Did you have them both on your phone to compare for a while, and no clashes ? Yes, for me Bubble is fine when it works, then it throws a fit and 501s and sometimes carries on, sometimes doesn't, or it will be slow to work on 1st starting up the system. No clashes, You could probably even run then at the same time and control on one and watch on the other.. I've never tried that so... don't blame me if..😂 I have them both on 2 phones, and an ancient Lenovo tablet too. No clashes. I tried Bubble again. Closed everything down in mConnect. Bubble was just the same as the other night. Clicking on Qobuz gave a long search scanning bar time, then long please waits, a timeout, I cancelled, tried again, then it asked for my PW! I think that's because exciting the app doesn't actually close it and it or Qobuz gets confused.. Then eventually it gets through to Qobuz and can play. I don't know what's happened to it, but it's not pleasant to use at the moment😢 I've tried uninstall fresh install, other devices, made no difference 😢

Noticed tracks I have in a playlist are no longer available! Disaster it would be! However the album is available still as Too much 'Nils-Erik Sparf' and not enough 'Drottningholms Ensemble' on the first one perhaps? 😂 On my CD I can't recall seeing Nils on the cover at all..

Very useful to have Steve's experience as it shows this is not just me or my broadband
Been working ok apart from no phone connection to Rendu which I have left for now
Could you have set up something we don't go into, Android, Bubble or Qobuz ?

No - Samsung S7 FE running Android 13. Latest BubbleUPnP (licensed). Qobuz version irrelevant. Rendu running SonicOrbiter 2.9. DLNA mode. Every app removed except DLNA and Spotify. Sig Rendu SE UPnP device selected in Bubble.
TP-Link MR-600 with EE 4G service, around 50M speed.
Accessing search and playlists never slow (unless Qobuz are having a problem).
Both the tablet and phone can run Bubble and see what's playing at the same time.
I love Bubble and dislike mConnect.

Your logic is flawed. If the tablet is seeing the Rendu, why would rebooting the Rendu help the phone to work?
The fault is with the phone. Turn off mobile data and make sure it's on the same wi-fi as the tablet.

FYI, I never have mobile data on my usual controlling device. It has no SIM card! Worked okay a few weeks, aside from the death lock up of Rendu, caused by longer playlists or repeated single track plays.
Guess it's the most recent update to Bubble causing my problems.

Mike, you are your own worst enemy! I know, but I am genuinely in awe of Mike's determination and boundless persistence I'd written off the phone for the time being. Good to have it back though Definitely good that Martin set me up with Bubble and the bits to make the Rendu work. Doubt I could have done it Problems arise when something, almost anything 'happens'. I'm fumbling around in the dark and half light Android is also new to me, much more comfortable in Windows
