Is Discover and Qobuzisms section - in mConnect ? How do you rate the mConnect interface compared to Bubble, if Bubble was faultless for you ? You simply touch the Browser icon, then menu (3 bars) then you see a choice for Search, Discover, My playlists, Favourites, Purchases and Settings. In Settings you can set streaming quality (24/192 for me), and Autoplay (similar tracks will play web when your queue ends). Touch Discover and you can choose New releases, Qobuz playlists, Streaming charts, Download charts, Selected by Qobuz, Selected by the media. Choose between big icons, or smaller as a list. Also if you update a playlist in say the Qobuz app on another device,,as soon as you select My playlists or Favourites the changes are there. No need to press extra to download as in Bubble. As an interface its simpler to use IMO. Less choices and menus I never need. You cannot show metadata. 5 tabs at the bottom of the screen 1. Playing screen has progress bar, shows the streaming rate. 2. Queue screen self explanatory. Can be added to, remove items. 3. Favourites are for your own media. I don't bother with this at the moment. 4. Browser - covered that above. 5. Play to - choose which device, Rendu and any others like Sonos, Chromecast, local player will show up, if on your network. Once you choose one it will load that next time you start the app. Close the app, it clears the queue and doesn't leave itself running in the background - Bubble was doing this for me sometimes. With the mConnect app set in your device to run in the background, it does just that. Plays one track after another, whatever is in the queue. I can start it and play something in seconds. Bubble was like that but a bit slower to use, but recently it has become super difficult for me to sign into Qobuz, gives 501 errors randomly (required lots of attempts to get it going again), and of course load a big playlist or favourites list and try to play it from the beginning it was totally locking up for me regularly. Even hopping about in a playlist in bubble could cause that lock up! None of that with mConnect. It just works for me.

Sounds good Can it be installed and played with it before buying ? Think you already said you ran them both together - can you confirm ? You can try a limited 'light' and probably with ads version. No problem with mConnect and Bubble coexisting on the same device. All the beef mconnect Player LITE is a compact version of mconnect Player. This version does not have full functions of mconnect Player, such as Track Sorting, Folder Bookmarking, and Remembering Renderer. mconnect Player is a media player app to support UPnP/DLNA and Google Cast(Chromecast). - Send Video/Photo/Music to UPnP and Google Cast (Chromecast) devices. - Play TIDAL, Qobuz and Bugs music & video to UPnP and Google Cast devices. - Send MQA tracks (in TIDAL Master and local server) to UPnP compatible audio. You can play media files from any Servers to any Playback Devices with mconnect Player. [Media Servers] - Your Phone and Tablet. - UPnP compatible servers: PC and NAS. - Internet Music integrated into App: TIDAL, Qobuz and Bugs. - Cloud Server integrated into App: OneDrive and Dropbox. [Playback Devices] - Your Phone and Tablet. - UPnP compatible renderers: Smart TV, UPnP supported Audio, UPnP receivers. - Google Cast: Chromecast, Google Cast compatible Audio. Note: If you send a media file to a remote playback device, the playable media format depends on the media decoder in the remote playback device. Google Cast and Chromecast are registered trademarks of Google Inc. DLNA is a trademark of Digital Living Network Alliance. UPnP is a certification mark of the UPnP Forum in the United States and other countries. TIDAL is a trademark of ASPIRO AB. Qobuz is a trademark of XANDRIE SA. Bugs is a trademark of NHN Bugs Corp.

What's more on Sonore website
"Supports streams from JRiver, Audirvana, mConnect, and JCat"
The only reference to bubble is about
"BubbleUPnP Server app allows any renderer to take advantage of the OhMedia - OpenHome protocol"
bubbleupnp server should not be used it is not an UPnP/DLNA media server: it does not index your media.

I thought BubbleUPnP Server was deprecated? Anyway, it's not the same as the client.

I thought BubbleUPnP Server was deprecated? Anyway, it's not the same as the client. Yes, not the same.. Jesus thought I was trying to use that, made it clear it was the bubbleupnp app I was using. It's still on their website..

I caught this quote elsewhere:
"I started with Mcconnect but it always had difficulty finding my Marantz. I tried Bubble and it never falters plus I prefer the interface."
Experiences differ. I will be staying with Bubble.

Apart from the odd, easily worked around issue with Bubble it is behaving for me

Very different indeed.
I remember trying mConnect and it doing the same lock up Bubble, do soldiered on with Bubble for ages. This was pre V2.9 of Rendu.
Jesus didn't exactly warn me off Bubble at any point either.
I can't explain it, mConnect refuses to falter or be slow no matter what I throw at it.
I tried Bubble last night to see. Failed in 10 minutes, with what I call normal use cases.
Go figure.
We all have to find our own best path on our audio journey. This is the way!
Edit: just tried adding a few tracks I'd browsed to in mConnect to existing playlists in Qobuz. Works faultlessly. So too creating a new playlist - there instantly in Qobuz app.

Technology Need to work out what I want to do with playlists. Have changed my mind a couple of times Chaos is perfection😀 I have a Current favourite tracks System demo, Bass test, Mid bass test, Acoustic test, Swedish tracks, Jazz, Piano, Then many by artist The above are just springboards or memory joggers too other explorations of artists albums. Sometimes I just let them play through though, skipping tracks I decide I've heard too often or got bored with. Then jump to the next thing, or something I've just spotted farther down. Whole albums don't do much for me tbh. I do listen to some but it's not like 22min a side, jump up before the inner groove thump😂

Had to laugh
Q missing the odd favourite of mine, sometimes quite a few by one artist Searched for Thorbjorn Risager expecting 1 or 2, maybe none
Nope. Everything he has done, including a load not on Discogs or Almmusic

...and yet still no early Zero 7 albums!
The guy at the Qobuz stand (Bristol show) was very helpful, looking up the record label and making notes of the albums. I can only hope that they will appear one day.
