Gosh, after all that we've written in this forum about it!
Spotify Free is low quality streaming, just for sampling and includes adverts.
Spotify Premium is 320k Ogg high quality streaming, and don't let that put you off. In my opinion, it's right up there with CD quality. It supports many devices and interfaces, there is an app for pretty much anything (including my TV). The catalogue of music is huge, too.

In short, it sounds much, much better and there are no LOUD adverts. A bargain.

Golly Gosh,i thought it was only low bit rate, so how many devices can you put on at one time,is there a limit, thinking of 2 imac`s, 2pc`s ipad pro, iphone x and a couple of droid boxes,do i have to put a program for ogg.i usually rip cd`s higher than 320 as i never compress music

You can use as many machines as you want But you have 2 Options 1 Just use on any machine at one time 2 or get a family account where you can use on different machines at the same time It is illegal to record from Spotify

Yes, I've certainly suffered from many playlists appearing that I had not 'followed'. I had a massive 'unfollow' exercise and then rescinded some Apps in my Spotify account profile. I also found a couple of suspicious 'family members' in my Family account, also now deleted. Things seem to have gone back to normal but I, too, thought my account had been hacked.
I wonder what's going on? It almost looks like an insider employee or group of employees doing it.

Someone hacked my Spotify account between leaving work and later this evening! They changed the e-mail address associated with my account so I couldn't recover it in any way.
20 mins with an online Spotify chat person, and a screen grab of my payment details, and it has been restored.
Toe-rag!!!

Toe-rag!!! That's not awfully impressive, Martin. I'm fairly sure that your password would have been decent, so did Spotify give you any idea how it happened and did they give any hints on how to avoid it in future?

Yes, I had a strong password. I thought it might be an inside job, too. Not much other help. I did reset every machine and device using my account, just to start from scratch.
