Respighi - Pines of Rome etc., Lane, Atlanta SO, Telarc
Simply superb recording by Telarc in the Atlanta Symphony Hall, featuring one of the true great organs, with awesome climaxes too. I would declare it the best Pines, but of course there is also the superb Dutoit/Decca recording. A wonderful Sunday afternoon listen.

A bargain spotted on the Wigwam.
Complete Beethoven string quartets on 8 SACD for £15 on Amazon performed by the illustrious Tokyo Quartet.
My set arrived yesterday and a couple of SQs listened to already. It's a good'un!
