I love Philip Glass - his music does something to me, too. You really should try the Violin Concerto No. 1, Tom.

The third movement is where it's at - lovely interplay between the violin and percussion.

Vivaldi - Four Seasons, Interpreti Veneziani, Chasing the Dragon
This recording is fantastically vivid, the first direct cut I've added to my collection in a few years.

Respighi - Pines of Rome etc., Lane, Atlanta SO, Telarc
Simply superb recording by Telarc in the Atlanta Symphony Hall, featuring one of the true great organs, with awesome climaxes too. I would declare it the best Pines, but of course there is also the superb Dutoit/Decca recording. A wonderful Sunday afternoon listen.
