Does it get any better than Rachel Podger for the Bach Partitas? Certainly the best in my collection as she plays with a profound depth of nobility. I am planning to attend her London recital in December.
The only other set I need to hear is Alina Ibragimova, if she is permitted to appear on streaming ... grrrr.

Do you like her "Four Seasons", with the Brecon Baroque?

I discovered this divine Scriabin Impromptu as my son is currently learning it. It seems unusually romantic for Scriabin at first, but naturally there is an emotional maelstrom to navigate ...
It will take up just 3'23" of your time.

what an odd little piece of music. At one stage left-hand sounds almost syncopated while alternately on the beat and behind the beat on every other, well, beat. Purely a first impression. I must listen again.

Yes the syncopation is unusual!

Shostakovich Symphony No. 12, Haitink, Concertgebouw I don't think the 12th gets enough recognition, storming symphony. open.qobuz.com/track/523703
