Rossini - Stabat Mater Now here is a tenor who really did make a huge impression on me: Dalmacio Gonzalez. Just listen to him in the second movement, he is spine tingly good. open.qobuz.com/track/515354

A vocal group I'd not come across before and recommended by Fretless, one of my fellow Admins at HFS. They're named Voces8, and they're rather good. The album I'm listening to is "After Silence II," which is part of a 4-album "project" but unfortunately Spotify only lists the whole thing. After Silence II comprises tracks 8 - 17 of the whole.

Poulenc - Stabat Mater Sometimes the first version you ever bought stays with you forever. This performance is perfectly exquisite, juxtaposing Poulenc's gorgeous music with some quite modern instrumentation, a little dissonance and a soprano to die for. open.qobuz.com/track/133172999

Virgil Fox - Live in San Francisco Virgil Fox has his own style but there is no denying his playing skill and the sound of one of the biggest Ruffatti installations in the world. Luxuriate in the power of those effortless deep pedals. open.qobuz.com/track/5233283

Bruckner 5 (and 1),Nelsons DG, released today. Quite possibly the first time I've been impressed by Nelsons, this is quite magnificent.
