Hope you like it.
When you get to the end of the last track, keep listening as there's more after a minute or so of silence!

For me, the best of the Elgar symphonies thanks to the "elaboration" of the unfinished work

Sounds interesting, Jules, on my playlist for later. I'll be interested to hear what you think of it Jerry. I liked it so much I bought the cd for my mum! OK, playing it again now. I enjoyed it first time through. Yes, it's good. I can't say I'm jumping up & down with excitement about it, but it's a good listen. Sort of the same (high) standard you'd expect of an Andrew Manze or John Holloway album of the same type of music. Which is quite a compliment. Bonet does add a few dollops of schlagobers, romanticising it a bit. Not sure that appeals for a whole album. But yeah, 's'okay. I'm pleased to have heard it.

Indeed Sir!
It is one of the jewels in the early music choral crown, but very, very difficult to record well. I sometimes struggle with female voices in such works.
See what you think of this new effort.

Nonce?? Are you sure? Mmm, yes. noun the present, or immediate, occasion or purpose (usually used in the phrase for the nonce). www.dictionary.com/browse/nonceAlthough I see that it now has an alternative meaning. I'm showing my age again.
