Yes, His application of tempo is particularly intuitive.

Shostakovich - Symphony No.13, Haitink, Concertgebouw The depth on this is incredible. 'Fears' is even more terrifying now. open.qobuz.com/track/3554896

Holst - The Planets Suite & The Perfect Fool [Michael Stern / Kansas City S.O.]
I picked this up on the off-chance along with a few other "bargains" and it's rather good.

Looks like what Melodiya would have released. What's the label?

Look like what Melodiya would have released. What's the label? Artservice. Never heard of it before!

Paul! - you'll only encourage them!! __________________________ Absolutely beautiful Bach piano playing from this young Russian (?) lady. It's from that interesting Russian (?) label as well, Artservice, I'd not come across them before but there's some unusual and intriguing albums on Qobuz. open.qobuz.com/album/j3x2kuuicbuqb

playing this atm. Previous attempts at Tchaik's "Seasons" (actually the Months) had left me uninterested. But this young lady (again) has me quite taken with them. Some exquisite miniatures in there. open.qobuz.com/album/koqw6recm6ovc

Another Artservice album. The first half of this lute transcription recital doesn't work for me, the Bach pieces, but the last 2 items are superb. Biber's immense Passacaglia and Marin Marais' Sonnerie de Sainte Geneviève du Mont de Paris are just mesmerising. open.qobuz.com/album/wpflsqloyqydb
