LOL - now that is funny. They should put a vocal over the top of it and enter it for Eurovision!!

Ok ballet haters try this for size - some very sensual contemporary ballet with an excellent Max Richter soundtrack.

I've always ignored it. What should I try?
Could you tolerate the ballet ok??

Yes, the ballet was ok but I don't really need visuals with music.
For an easy entry, try the Four Seasons recomposed by Richter.
Try also The Leftovers Season 3 soundtrack. Highly evocative.

I'll see your vampire and raise you a Dracula ballet. I heard a track from this on a magazine cover CD and went out and bought the album.

Yes, the ballet was ok but I don't really need visuals with music Surely it depends on the music? The Richter music for the ballet works well for its intended use, as a partner to the dance, but I can't imagine it holding much interest on its own.

I agree to an extent. Sometimes music can greatly enhance drama (see my The Leftovers recommendation above), other times the visuals are a distraction.

Achingly lovely Telemann from Jean-Baptiste Poyard.
I came across this looking for a good reading of the Fantasias for my son who is about to start on them.
Excellent depth of acoustic too.
