Do you have to put fuses in upside down in NZ ? Stranger things have happened How would you tell? If I remember correctly although the fuses are supposedly directional the manufacturer says to try them both ways round and pick the one that sounds best, because even they don't know which direction they're directional in.

The best theory is that cables and fuses become directional with use. I just insert them with direction left to right when reading the label, for consistency.

Good to have a system (Even if changed when found wanting) I have all sorts of standard routines for all sorts. Saves thinking too much

Yep - if I take a fuse out and move it elsewhere, for whatever reason, I know which way I had it running.

However agree you know when you have the aftermarket fuses incorrectly fitted or as you say moved the aforementioned item!

It's interesting that no disbeliever will ever accept the simplest experiment:
Just reverse the direction of one speaker cable. You can even disconnect/reconnect the other one to ensure evenly clean contacts.
Does the image shift or sound different? If so, cables are directional.

Have Mad Scientist Nitro Nano power cables burning in. One for my amp; one hard wired to an Eichmann Universal Power Strip for everything else.

Last thing after that, is to put on Mad Scientist Graphene Contact Enhancer.
Any advice on how to use this? Where? Do you let it dry?

Brave man, Brett! I suggest you evaluate the cables and fuses before adding anything else, then one at a time.
The graphene contact enhancer is great provided you heed Bob's instructions and use only a tiny bit with the smallest brush he provides. You should only just see discolouration of the contact surface. Apply to both pin and socket. No need to wait, it's effectively dry. Place something underneath as you do not want to get it on carpet or a valuable surface. Plug/unplug each treated pair a few times to get the graphene into the crevices.

Duplicated post, but now on this thread
Initial review of the SR Orange fuses:
Base stronger - seems to hang in the air. Instrument separation more discernible. Again, hearing things in tracks I'd never heard before.
Overall, a huge A+ in my view
Let my Love Open the Door - Pete Townsend (Gross Point Blank) Psycho Killer - Talking Heads (Stop Making Sense) World Mix - Deep Forest Armagideon Time - The Clash Walk on the Wild Side - Lou Reed Paradise Circus - Massive Attack The Decoration - Eyeless in Gaza No Ordinary Morning - Chicane Tilted - Christine and the Queens Biko - Peter Gabriel Wurlitzer Jukebox - Young Marble Giants New Dark Age - The Sound Tomorrow - Bono/Adam Clayton (Common Ground) The Ubiquitous Mr Lovegrove - Dead Can Dance

Just put in Mad Scientist Nitro Nano power cables (replacing Mad Scientist Nano cables). With 24 hours on them.
Sweet Child in Time - Deep Purple Stairway to Heaven - Led Zeppelin Magic Bus - The Who Live at Leeds
Damn. What happens when these are settled? I'm hearing much further into the music. With Magic Bus, I could tell where they were on the stage. At one point, noticed how far Roger Daltrey was from the mic. And hadn't noticed John Entwistle on backup vocals before. Some more detail of Keith Moon's drumming.
I'm near the end of the tweaks, but loving what I'm getting.
Just Mad Scientist Donuts, Graphene Contact Enhancer, and Perfect Path Technologies Omega EMat+ to go.

This could be a nice deal for someone. Oehlbach make a USB jitter cleaner which works in the same way as the Audioquest Jitterbug. If you order on Amazon Prime it is £45 but if you order from Germany (link from the same page) it's about £32 delivered.
